The first two games of the elite eight in the NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament went down to the wire on Saturday night. In Cleveland, at the Midwest Region Championship, undefeated Kentucky outlasted Notre Dame 68-66 with two Andrew Harrison free throws with six seconds left in the game. Kentucky now 38-0 is just two wins away from a perfect season.
In the earlier game on Saturday in the West Region Championship, Wisconsin outscored Arizona 85-78. Frank Kaminsky scored a game high 29 points to lead the Badgers to their second straight Final Four. Kentucky will play Wisconsin in one of two NCAA semi-final games next Saturday in Indianapolis, Indiana.
