St. Louis’ Ezekiel Elliott helps Buckeyes win national championship

ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI)- The Ohio State Buckeyes are the champions of college football. Their victory over Oregon was led by MVP Ezekiel Elliott, the St. Louisan from John Burroughs High School.

Elliott sealed the deal with 246 yards and four touchdowns helping Ohio State win the first national title in college football playoffs. The Buckeyes beat Oregon 42-20 in Monday night's game.

FOX 2' Charlie Marlow was the only St. Louis TV reporter in Texas for the game. Ezekiel's parents and siblings were all at the game celebrating.

Akron Ohio native and huge Buckeye fan LeBron James also took part in the celebration!

According to Charlie, Elliot saved the best game of his life for the biggest game of his life.
