“I’ll Have Another” ran nearly the same race it did at the Kentucky Derby three weeks ago to win the Preakness Stakes just edging out “Bodemeister”. “I’ll Have Another” came from fourth place down the stretch and won the Preakness in dramatic fashion to keep it’s Triple Crown dream alive. “Bodemeister” finished second with “Crreative Cause” finishing third.

It’s been 34 years since a horse has won Horse Racing’s biggest title, the Triple Crown. “Affirmed” last accomplished the feat in 1978. Since the last triple crown, 11 horses have won the first two races but then lost at Belmont, falling short of the illustrious Triple Crown.
