ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) -- Baseball's All Star game is Tuesday night and for the last time, it'll be Joe Buck calling the game with Tim McCarver.

Other than Homer and Marge Simpson, FOX's longest running TV couple might just be Buck and McCarver, now in their 18th season together announcing baseball for FOX.

The names Buck and McCarver had been associated before. Joe's father, Jack Buck, called games for CBS with McCarver before Jack was let go after the 1991 season.

When Buck talks about their partnership the conversation usually goes back to their friendship. Joe likes to say that Tim is a combination of a second dad, a crazy uncle and a best friend.

McCarver’s final broadcast will be the final game of the World Series.
