ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI)-Chaminade hoops star Jayson Tatum is one of the most celebrated high school athletes to ever come out of St. Louis.  Tatum has just decided where he'll be playing college basketball after his upcoming senior year. He announced Sunday that he will be playing for Duke University. He made the announcement on ESPNU.

Saint Louis University and Illinois were in his top 10. When he whittled it down to just four schools, SLU was still there with Duke, Kentucky, and North Carolina.

Jayson's dad, Justin, starred at SLU.  Jayson's godfather is former SLU and  NBA star, Larry Hughes. His grandmother went to SLU Law School.
