Ravens Outscore 49ers 34-31 in Exciting Super Bowl XLVII

The Baltimore Ravens won their second Super Bowl with an exciting 34-31 win over the San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl XLVII in New Orleans, Lousiana. The game featured a coaching matchup of brothers, John Harbaugh is the Ravens head coach, while younger brother Jim Harbaugh is the 49ers head coach. The game featured seven touchdowns, including a 108 yard kickoff return by the Ravens Jacoby Jones. Also part of Super Bowl XLVII was a safety and a 30 minute blackout inside the Louisiana Superdome during the third quarter of the game. The Raves built a 28-6 lead on San Francisco. But the 49ers launched a huge comeback after the power outage and were a two point conversion away from tieing the game at 31-31. The Ravens also stopped the Niners on a 4th down play in the fourth quarter at the Baltimore five yard line. Raven quarterback Joe Flacco was named the game’s MVP. He threw three touchdown passes in Super Bowl XLVII.
