Ducks Shut Out Blues 3-0

The Blues finished their three game West Coast road trip on a losing note on Sunday, dropping a 3-0 decision to the Ducks in Anaheim.  The Ducks scored one goal in the first period and two more in the second to account for the scoring. Sami Vatanen scored two power plays goals to lead Anaheim. It’s the second time in three games that the Blues have been shut out. Ducks goalie Frederick Andersen stopped all 28 Blues shots to earn the shutout.

The Blues return home this coming Thursday and play the Vancouver Canucks at 7:00 PM at Scottrade Center. Through five games this season, the Blues have a 2-2-1 record.
