Hitchcock will Coach Blues in 2014-15

Blues President of Hockey Operations Doug Armstrong announced on Wednesday that head coach Ken Hitchcock will return to coach the Blues for the 2014-15 season. The team had an option on Hitchcock’s existing contract for next season. In his first three seasons coaching the Blues, Hitchcock took the Note to three straight playoffs. This past regular season, the Blues won a franchise best 52 games. The team also announced that assistant coaches Brad Shaw and Ray Bennett will also be back for next season. Two other assistants from this past season’s coaching staff, Gary Agnew and Corey Hirsch would not be retained.
