The Cardinals were busy at Baseball’s Winter Meetings on Wednesday, signing a much needed left handed relief pitcher. The Cardinals signed free agent Randy Choate who pitched for both the Marlins and Dodgers in 2012. The 37 year old left handed relief specialist gets a three year deal worth 7.5 million dollars with the Cardinals. Choate pitched in a Major league most 80 games during the 2012 season.
