ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) - The Cardinals' bats were on fire in Game 1. But,Game 2 was a different story.  Molina hit a home run in the 5th inning and that is where the magic ended for the Red Birds.

By the 5th inning the Pirates were already ahead by five.  Molina's single home run was no match for the Pirates.  They scored twice more in the game for a final of 7-1.  The series is tied 1-1.  The Cards play in Pittsburgh on Sunday at 3:37pm.  You can watch that game on TBS.

Many fans were upset that the game aired exclusively on the MLB Network.  The channel is not offered on basic cable and the game could not be seen on broadcast television.  Many were in the dark about the details about the Major League Baseball Playoff game.
