Three time National League All-Star 29-year-old Yadier Molina has signed a multi-year contract with the St Louis Cardinals. The new contract extends from 2013 to 2017 season. The value of the contract has been reported as between $70 million to $75 million over five years.
Yadier Molina’s 2011 season was the strongest of his career. He led the team with a .305 batting average and led the NL in starts behind the plate.
