(KTVI)-The St. Louis Cardinals topped the Miami Marlins, 2-0, Saturday at Roger Dean Stadium. Adam Wainwright allowed three hits and struck out six through 4 2/3 innings. The Cardinals two runs scored when Pete Kozma ripped a two-run double in the fourth inning off Chris Hatcher.
Miami threatened in the first inning, but was unable to score and the threat ended with a strikeout and double play.
Marlins right-hander Jacob Turner made his second Grapefruit League start. Both have been against the Cardinals.
