Fox 2 Sports reporter Charlie Marlow was in Chicago and in the victorious Cardinals locker room after their dramatic 5-4 dramatic 10 inning win.

The Cardinals got sweet revenge on the Cubs Saturday in Chicago, one day after one of their toughest losses of the season. In Saturday's win, Carlos Beltran's 9th inning solo home run, his 30th of the season, tied the game at 4-4. Then in the 10th inning, Jon Jay's double to right scored the go ahead run. Jason Motte then struck out the side in the bottom of the 10th to earn his 39th save of the season.

The win was especially timely in respect to the NL Wild Card race. Both the Brewers and Dodgers both lost their games on Saturday, so the Cardinals lead in the Wild card race increased to two and a half game over Milwaukee and three games over Los Angeles with ten games remaining in the regular season.
