The St. Louis Cardinals will be part an answer to a baseball trivia question moving forward: Which teams played the night Joe West became Major League Baseball’s all-time games leader for umpires?

West, who started as a Major League umpire in 1976, is working Tuesday’s Cardinals-White Sox game in Chicago. He’s breaking the record first set by longtime umpire Bill Klem.

Former Cardinals third baseman David Freese was among those sharing Joe West stories on social media Tuesday.
