Jon Jay homered and made a sensational juggling catch in center field to help the Cardinals to an 8-2 win over the Arizona Diamondbacks. It was a great way to open a nine game home stand at Busch Stadium. Joe Kelly pitched into the 7th inning to get his third win of the season. Jon Jay, Allen Craig and Skip Schumaker all had two hits each and Matt Holliday cracked a 437 foot two run home run to pace the Cardinals offense.

The win coupled with Pittsburgh’s loss to the Dodgers moves the Cardinals to within one game of the NL Wild Card spot. Cincinnati won their game on Tuesday night to keep their lead of seven games on the Cardinals in the NL Central Division.
