SAN FRANSISCO, CA (KTVI) – The Cards may have lost Monday night’s NLCS game against the Giants but a slide is still causing quite a stir. Matt Holliday was involved in a controversial play at 2nd base in the first inning. Holliday’s hard take out of Giants 2nd baseman Marco Scutaro, caused a left hip injury to Scutaro, but not before his three run double off Carpenter gave the Giants a 5-1 lead. Scutaro had x-rays on his left leg, they were negative.

We have looped the play so you can judge for yourself. Was Holliday playing dirty ball?
