ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI)-- It was a nail biting game. Cardinals pitcher Michael Wacha almost achieved a no hitter. The Cardinals rookie came within one out of a no-hitter at Busch.

The good news is that the Cardinals won the game. Wacha was in control recording nine strikeouts against the Washington Nationals.  A huge moment came with two outs in the 8th inning -- The Nationals hit a fly ball to left.

It looked like trouble, but Shane Robinson came up big, making the catch for the out.

The Cardinals went on to win the game 2 to 0.

FOX 2 Sports Director Martin Kilcoyne has more on the young pitcher's amazing night.
