Molina’s 3 run shot in the top of the first inning, capped a 5 run outburst against Marlins’ starter Carlos Zambrano (4-6). Lohse (7-2) pitched 7 and 1/3 innings for the victory, while giving up just 4 hits and striking out 4. Molina’s home run was his 12th of the season. Carlos Beltran drove in his 58th RBI of the season. The Cardinals go for the sweep against the Marlins on Wednesday night.
