(KTVI) - The St. Louis Rams drafted West Virginia wide receiver Tavon Austin and University of Georgia linebacker Alec Ogletree in the 8th  and 30th, respectively, pick overall in the NFL Draft Thursday Night.

Austin was considered the best overall wide receiver in the draft. At 5 foot 8, 174 pounds, Austin has never missed a game in high school or college. He scored 20 touchdowns and completed 100 receptions during his junior and senior year. He averaged 8.9 yards on 72 carries in 2012.

Austin is fast as his 40-yard dash was 4.34 seconds. In all, he gained 2,910 all-purpose yard as a senior, the fourth-most in NCAA history.

Ogletree is one of most athletic and versatile linebackers in the draft. Ogletree, 6 foot 3, 242 pounds, produced 111 tackles, 11.5 going for a loss and three sacks last season.

Ogletree does have a history with crime. He was arrested for stealing another student’s motorcycle helmet, suspended for drug-related reasons and arrested with suspicion of driving under the influence.
