Rams Break Losing Streak, Beat Jaguars 34-20

Sam Bradford threw three touchdown passes to lead the Rams over the visting Jacksonville Jaguars 34-20 on Sunday at the Edward Jones Dome. Bradford connected on TD passes with Lance Kendricks and Austin Pettis. Pettis had two score hookups with Bradford. The Rams running game finally appeared, with the running back trio of Zac Stracy, Daryl Richardson and Benny Cunningham, combining for 143 yards. Stacy led the way with 78 yards gained in his first NFL start.

The Rams defense also contributed a touchdown when safety Matt Giordano returned Jags quarterback Blaine Gabbert’s pass 82 yards for a score. Gabbert from St. Louis, returned home to play in front of the home crowd. Gabbert completed 9 of 19 passes for 181 yards and a TD pass. He also threw tow interceptions before leaving the game with a hamstring injury.

The win ends the Rams three game losing streak and improves their season record to 2-3.
