ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI)-Rams defensive ends Chris Long and William Hayes recently spent a night homeless on the streets of St. Louis to experience what that life is like. Both Long and Hayes are contributors to St. Patrick Center, which provides shelter, employment counseling, and health care opportunities for people who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless.

The two said goodbye to their fancy clothes and spent the night in downtown St. Louis to experience what unfortunately some St. Louis residents have to do every night.  Their story was recorded and shown on ESPN.

Fox 2 Sports Director Martin Kilcoyne caught up with both Long and Hayes at Busch Stadium earlier this week, where the two were collecting donations for the homeless in St. Louis.
