ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) - A group led by beer distributor Tom Stillman has been approved to buy the St. Louis Blues. The sale price is expected to be around $130 million dollars.  The sale would be from Dave Checkett's group Sports Capital Partners Worldwide.

Stillman would be the 8th owner of the franchise since it started in 1966.

The Blues would then introduce Stillman at a press conference, perhaps as early as Thursday. Blues General Manager Doug Armstrong was asked about Stillman and says the current Blues minority owner is a respected hockey man.
