The Blues first game since the death of Mr. Blue, Bobby Plager didn’t go St. Louis’ way. They were shut out by the Wild 2-0 in Minnesota on Thursday night. The Blues outshot the Wild 37-11, but couldn’t put the puck past Minnesota goalie Cam Talbot. The Wild got second period goals from Marcus Johansson and Kirill Kaprizov to take the 2-0 lead.
Minnesota did hold a moment of silence to honor Bobby Plager before the game.
The Blues finally return home tomorrow night to host the Anaheim Ducks.
