THE WEATHER DISCO:

ITS ALL ABOUT AN IMPRESSIVE COLD FRONT COMING BY…WITH A SECOND FRONT ROLLING BY LATE FRIDAY AND FRIDASY NIGHT…THE PROBLEM…A LOW PRESSURE HAS DEVELOPED ON THE FIRST FRONT…A FRONT THAT IS STUCK OVER SOUTHERN SECTIONS OF THE BI-STATE REGION…SO THAT LOW WILL RIDE UP AND ALONG THE FRONT WITH A SOGGY DAY ON THE WAY FOR FRIDAY AND ROLLING INTO FRIDAY NIGHT. IT WILL BE A COLD RAIN…VERY, VERY DIFFERENT FROM THE 80+ ON THURSDAY…A REMINDER WHICH WAY THE SEASONS ARE GOING. THIS SYSTEM WILL LIFT OUR SATURDAY MORNING WITH A LARGE DOME OF HIGH PRESSURE SINKING IN…WITH A SOLID CHILL IN THE AIR…EXPECT TO SEE THE SUN OVER THE WEEKEND BUT HIGH TEMPS WILL ONLY BE IN THE 50’S AND A CONCERN ABOUT A FROST SUNDAY MORNING…MAYBE AGAIN MONDAY MORNING. THIS IS A FAST SHOT OF COLD FROM THE NORTH…THE CORE GETTING PUSHED QUICKLY TO THE EAST WITH A SOUTHERLY FLOW RETURNING MONDAY AND TUESDAY…WITH A WARM UP…WITH ANOTHER COLD FRONT KICKING IN LATE TUESDAY/TUESDAY NIGHT. THIS SYSTEM HAS BROUGHT 12 TO 14 INCHES OF SNOW TO THE UPPER MID-WEST AND WILL BRING THE FIRST SNOW OF THE SEASON TO THE OHIO VALLEY AND THE NORTHEAST AND GREAT LAKES THE NEXT 2 DAYS. ALSO FOLKS ASKING ABOUT THE TIME CHANGE…WE FALL BACK…THE FIRST WEEKEND OF NOVEMBER…SO STILL A FEW WEEKS TO GO. THE PEAK FALL COLORS WILL BE THE END OF OCTOBER…BUT THERE WILL BE A SOLID LEAF DROP WITH THE RAINS FRIDAY AND FRIDAY NIGHT.
SATURDAY IS PARTLY TO MOSTLY CLOUDY AND CHILLY..IN THE 50’S
