Dave murray’s latest stl forecast and weather disco…For tuesday…May 21, 2013

*** the sprng-time storm situation still very much in place tuesday and tuesday night…This does not mean rain all the time…But waves of storms that can be strong to severe…Things get scrubbed out late week***

Tuesday:

Partly sunny…Warm and humid with scattered rain and storms…Some strong to severe…Especially late day
Winds: southwest 15-30 m.P.H.
High: 82 degrees

Tuesday night:

Rain and storms…Some strong to severe…Very humid
Winds: southwest 10-20 m.P.H.
Low: 65 degrees.

Wednesday:

Partly sunny…A few spot storms
Winds: southwest 15-30 m.P.H.
High: 80 degrees

Cooler and drier air in place for thursday and friday…Highs in the 70’s lows in the low to mid 50’s

The weather disco:

First…Thoughts and prayers to all the folks in moore oklahoma…About 12 miles south of okc…The tornado of the season up to this point…The death and injury totals will rise.
For us…This is a slow moving but very strong weather pattern…But again..Its a spring pattern…No all day or all night rains…These are waves of scattered but strong to severe thunderstorms…Some get them…Other’s do not…But where they happen…Its the works…Heavy rain, hail, lightning, high winds and possible spin-up twisters…Not a pattern to fool around with. There will be lots of rain-free time..But the atmsophere is potent…Stay up to date. This system will slide east on its march to the east coast during the day on wednesday…We get scrubbed out wednesday night with very pretty weather on thursday and friday…Much of saturday looking good…But as warm and humid air returns…There may be a few spot storms late on saturday…Then concerns about another bolwing ball low pressure system for later in the holiday weekend…Too early for details…Especially with the focus on the current weather.
