Dave Murray’s Latest STL forecast and weather disco…WEDNESDAY…November 19, 2014:

*** Temperatues a little better on this Wednesday… still below average, still windy…so better yes…but also still cold***

WEDNESDAY:

A mix of clouds and sun…windy in the afternoon…better but still cold
WINDS: West 10-25 M.P.H.
HIGH: 40 degrees

WEDNESDAY NIGHT:

Partly cloudy, cold
WINDS: West 5-10 M.P.H.
LOW: 22 DEGREES.

THURSDAY:

Partly sunny—chilly to cold
WINDS: West 5-15 M.P.H.
HIGH: 38 DEGREES

THE WEATHER DISCO:

The key to the next few days will be the massive northwest flow will shut down and the overall flow turns more zonal…this will shut off the arctic cold…This is still a cold pattern…but the hard core arctic air will ease…that arctic air getting exhausted… this will allow time to re-build…Then a new system will roll with the west to east zonal flow and turn into an impressive storm system…we should see a light winter’s mix Friday night…snow, sleet, freezing rain and rain…looking light right now…then rain and even some thudnerstorms Saturday into Sunday…as temps pop to about 50 degrees Saturday…warmer on Sunday… the fun weather ride goes on
